Murders in Philadelphia

This is getting out of control. Shoot first. Ask questions later --That seems to be the motto of these cold blooded killers running through the streets of Philadelphia. As of April of this year we reached a murder rate that is higher than New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago. This city is RED with blood. Something has got to be done about the innocent people that are dying. I know there are certain rules to "live by" in certain communities but how many times do we have to turn on the news and hear about a 4 year old child being shot in the crossfire before we wake up? Stop Killing each other. Plain and simple.

I'M SICK OF THIS WEATHER!!!!
Global Warming is really taking its toll on this world. I mean, 45 degrees on Monday and 60 degrees on Tuesday. This is ridiculous! I don't know whether to wear flip-flops or Ugg boots. And judging from people I see walking around Temple's campus, they're just as confused as me. I see girls with coats and scarves on and open toe sandals...(okay that was a bit of an exaggeration) but honestly I'm ready to stand on the corner with a sign that says "THE END IS NEAR". The way things are going now who knows what the world is going to look like in a few years. It may be snowing in July! It's a scary thought..I don't know tell me what you think.

NO SINGING @ THE TABLE!!

Music Review

"It's Britney Bitch", the opening words on her 5th CD Blackout, released in the US on October 30th. As a life long Britney fan, of course I decided to buy this album, but the sound is not consistent with previous albums. The Britney I saw live in 4th grade for the tour of her debut album ...Baby One More Time had me mesmerized as she performed up beat music that sounded five years her senior. This new Britney is elementary, simple and bland. Not to be harsh, love the girl, but "Gimme More"--umph, piz zaz, feeling, and frankly, what more does she need? As a vocalist myself I know that your voice matures and strengthens with age but Britney's voice shows no growth or maturity, than again neither does her private life. Despite the inconsistency from previous albums, Blackout is worth a buy, or maybe a burn (sorry Brit), but for all you die hard Britney fans you be the judge. You can support her for the little girl or guy in you that remembers her dancing in the school gym or wrapped in a snake at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. Check it out, or don't it's up to you. Let me know what you think.
