when you've biten off more than you can chew.
Celebrities these days wear many hats, well like the normal people they are what would expect? But unlike their normal human counterparts celebrities are leaving this earth in drastic ways. The latest celeb to depart Planet Earth fatally being Heath Ledger. Utter shock when I learned the news courtesy of the news ticker that Facebookers statuses have become. What next? A young man, father, son and talented actor plucked from this life suddenly, only to be found by a masseuse and a house cleaner. I don't know what else to expect from celebrities anymore, Nicole Richie has raised the bar in only one year, from a drugie to a jail bird to a mother, she sure moves quickly. But until Hollywood starts making sense I guess I'll stay posted to Facebook to breaking news.

WHEN A WOMAN'S FED UP
So what's the point of dating??Somebody?? Anybody??...No one has the answer huh?? I've been sitting here wondering why we go through the whole process of the dating. The whole cat and mouse game--it's getting pretty old for me and I'm still young. I like you, You like me, we'll pretend not to, we'll spend time together, goo-goo gaa-gaa, lovie-dovie stuff, you'll eventually find a way to get on my nerves, we'll go back and forth about who did or said what, relationship over. I mean really it's the same everytime. Seems like a complete waste of time if you ask me. I know I sound completely bitter, but this is how I feel at this moment, and I felt like sharing. After all sharing is caring, and I care ;-). Why can't we just meet the "one" and be done with it? Why must we go through this grueling process of dating only to find that it's not gonna work? I think I feel like this because I'm a woman and like most women I'm sick of getting emotionally attached to these guys who can't even remember your birthday. My mother keeps telling me that I need to read that book " He's just not that into You", and I'm starting to believe her. This way I'll be able to see the signs well in advance and move on. IDK tell me what you think...

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS....THROW THEM AT PEOPLE
COMPLAINT SECTION
Okay So, I am sick and tired to death of the Writer's Strike. Now, I am a writer myself and I'm all for the writer's demanding what they feel they deserve and all that righteous stuff but if I watch another re-run of "Everybody Hates Chris" I'm gonna scream!! That's pretty much all I have to say about that! Make a deal. BE happy. Give me back my prime time sit-coms!!

ALL IN MY KOOL AID!!
Local News and Headlines
One day, I really hope I'll have some good news to report to you about Philadelphia but once again get ready to shake your heads and say little silent prayer for the youth of this great city. Teenage girls are becoming more and more violent today. Mean Girls was not just a movie, it's a reality. A 15 year old girl from West Philadelphia High School was stabbed on her way home from school by another young female on Monday. This has got to stop. Young girls need guidance now more than ever. Philadelphia is already one of the leading cities for gun violence and this problem just adds fuel to the fire. It won't be long before young girls are bringing weapons to school to protect themselves against their classmates. Not to single out one particular group, but this problem seems to be growing among the African American girls in schools. I am not too fresh out of high school myself and I have seen first hand how jealousy among girls turns into fights. The sad thing is that it usually has something to do with a boy. Not to bash the men, but young girls need to become more unified and stand together rather than try to tear each other down.
Tell me what you think...

Okay Folks, It's been a while since my last post but it's time to get things under way again...what can I say, life happens. The important thing is that I'm back..right?lolz...
So...American Idol is BACK....We're excited!! Aren't we?? Tuesday night was the kick off of season 7 of American Idol. And to add to all of that excitement, the first night featured the auditions in Philadelphia. I'm still trying to figure out whether or not that was a good thing. I mean where's the talent in Philadelphia?? I know FOX has to show the bad auditions and the depressing stories to get ratings, but come on! There has got to be some more talent than the chest waxing, complex personality having, Schizophrenic, Star Wars fanatics we saw on Tuesday night! I don't know I guess Justin Guarini was the closest thing we're gonna get to an American Idol coming out of Philadelphia. IDK...tell me what you think....
